About the PCT and Joel
The Pacific Crest Trail runs 2658 miles all the way from Mexico to Canada through the west coast states, and it has been a dream of mine for nearly a decade to hike this trail in its entirely. On April 19th I will arrive at the Mexican border and begin hiking north, stopping only when I reach Canada or an injury forces me off the trail. This site will be updated periodically to allow family and friends to follow my progress.

It is hard for me to imagine all you have seen and the pictures help alot! You have covered many miles and seen and done so much. I will look forward to hearing stories. Not much farther now -- keep going but be safe!
